National Youth Service Corps to start posting members to farms

According to General Suleiman Zakaure during his official visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Shagamu, Ogun State, said that the move is in line with the Agricultural Development Programme designed for NYSC. 
He mentioned that NYSC has already acquired farmlands in some geopolitical zones like Kwali, Oyo, Bauchi and Kebbi. 

“It should interest you that we are starting the agricultural development scheme after the orientation programme for batch A corps members,  they will be posted to farms for their primary assignments to kick start the pilot phase”.
Although, we are starting with four states now but we will integrate other states, he said.

General Zakaure advised the corps members not to go out there looking for white collar jobs which are not in existence rather, develop their potentials for entrepreneurship.
